I’ve asked this question before, but here goes:
If you have too many tattoos, I understand some clinics may not allow you to take an MRI because the ink might contain metals that would hurt like hell and fck up your artwork.
I’m gonna need to have both arms, meaning both shoulders and both biceps looked at. Is there anything other than a physical that they can do for someone who want’s to play it safe and stay away from the MRI?
CT scans, ultrasounds, nerve conduction studies…will any of those also indicate a problem?
Reich, the test would depend upon what they are looking for. A CAT scan would show much of what MRI scanning would but not to the same degree. Nerve conduction studies would be for issues that have to do with the nerves in the extremities. All of these tests are good but again one has to know what one is looking for.
